Superman Returns and has returned early

I actually thought this post would be on time but the Superman Returns has opened on Wednesday; all the posters had an opening date of June 30th.

Anyway, the movie looks great from the trailer and what I’ve read online. Kevin Spacey looks great as an evil (or more evil) version of Lex Luther than in previous. And for those fans who thought that Routh wouldn’t be good in the new Superman role - just go check out the film.

Ill be leaving right now to check out the movie in Central California but I can’t wait to be home to see the 3D version at the Metreon IMAX.

Note: Payperpost may provide compensation for this post. I did like the movie.

Bloggercon-How to make money session

Some of the interesting things coming out of this session (basics will be covered by others Im sure):

Im not the only person that thinks that affiliate programs suck.

People having issues with using blogging to make money vs go full out with a money-making strategy.

Need to make the best of opportunities when they arise.

More people make money from consulting brought by their blogging fame instead of monetizing the site.

ZDNet’s blogs are part of a network.

Comments on IRC are better than in room at times.

Use good will from your blog for monetization.

UC Berkeley has podcasts about their classes.

AOL/Netscape launch Digg-clone

AOL/Netscape have launched their own Digg-clone - participatory news rating site at http://www.beta.netscape.com/.

As of 5/14 in the evening PST, the site seems to be running slow but the front page is brimming with stories and general news.

Correction - The site is being overwhelmed after covered on ValleyWag, Techcrunch and Scripting News. Will Digg cover it as well?
